This will focus on novel magnetism, high-Tc superconductors, insulators, spintronics, magneto-optics, magnetic recording, hard and soft magnets, ferroelectrics, piezoelectrics and multiferroics.
Advanced materials and functional devices:
This session will address on advanced functional materials for environmental monitoring and applications, solution processing of nanostructured oxides, hybrid and materials with specific functionalities and their assembly into functional components.
Micro- and nanotechnology and applications:
This session will deal with the processing, characterization and utilization of materials, devices, and systems with dimensions on the order of nanometres, exhibiting novel and significantly enhanced physical, chemical, and biological properties functions, phenomena, and processes for environmental, biomedical, electronic and process, industrial applications, current challenges in nanotechnology.
Photonics and semiconductor nanophysics:
This session will offer an overview and forum for nanophysics and photonic materials with enhanced and/or novel functionalities for applications in electronics, photovoltaics, photoelectrochemical, energy harvesting and storage devices and materials. The topics will also cover light control, advanced materials for luminescence.
